London Fashion Week may have come and gone for another year but the sights and sounds of 2012 have left a lasting impression on many.
KTZ is a collaboration between Koji Maruyama, Sasko Bezovski and Marjan Pejoski. Marjan and Koji both studied fashion design at Central Saint Martins while Sasa was studying architecture.
“The KTZ show this season was nothing less than perfect in our minds,” insists Melissa Cumberland of Pandora’s Thoughts.
“Layers of bold plaids in primary red, blue and yellow – plaid boots with chains to match – and garments so glittery they could be seen from space, made this show a true spectacle of brilliance – which we have come to expect from this brilliant designer,” adds Jordanna Andrews.
“In between the bright and the bling marched an army of moody models draped in heavy black fabrics with white astrological looking symbols on jackets, dresses, hats, cloaks and more.”
The self-styled “strikingly graphic” look clearly had a unity despite some initial concerns while watching the KTZ Autumn/Winter 2012 catwalk show at London Fashion Week.
“With such a mix one could be concerned about cohesion but this show was so tightly bound in direction you could almost make a new ‘Around Me’ app based upon it”.
Pandora’s Thoughts are a studio specialising in fashion and portrait photography founded by two friends Jordanna Andrews and Melissa Cumberland. The pair work primarily in editorial and advertising fashion photography.
