BIOGRAPHY

Brad Elterman is a world renowned photographer, famous for his work documenting contemporary popular culture, and the antics of pop, punk and rock band icons.

His career developed from the age of 16 when he borrowed a camera and started taking pictures. From there, aged 19 he left school to tour with various bands meeting numerous European magazine editors in the process who were interested in his work. In 1974 he had his first picture published, a shot of Bob Dylan performing live onstage.

Throughout his career he has toured and shot with an eclectic range of musicians, all at the height of their popularity. He gained unattained access to David Bowie, The Ramones, The Who, Queen, Michael Jackson, The Sex Pistols and Rod Stewart amongst many others.

Brad continues to work with photography of contemporary popular culture, whilst the sentiment and importance of his earlier work escalades. Follow Brad on Twitter.
