Born in Japan, Takashi moved to London in 1997, aged 20, to study fashion styling and photography at London College of Fashion. Since then he has become a successful fashion photographer, with work published in numerous titles, such as; i-D, Dazed and Confused (UK, Japan), Vogue Nippon, Numero Tokyo, Harper’s Bazaar Japan, Vanity Fair (Germany), commons&sense, Milk, GQ Japan, Marie Claire Japan, Nylon Japan, Tokion and more.

Takashi currently divides his time between London, New York and Tokyo.
